Award

13^th PIT IKA - Annual Scientific Meeting of Indonesian Pediatric Society, Malang 2025 held an open competition for Excellent Research Awards (ERA) that is divided into 2 categories:

1. Pediatricians (full IPS member)

2. Pediatric Residents (young IPS member) from all Institutions of Pediatric Specialty Programs (IPSP) throughout Indonesia

The rules are as follows:

1. Each IPSP can submit a maximum of 5 (five) ERA papers

2. Each ERA submission must be accompanied by a Statement Letter from the Head of the Department of Child Health (for Pediatricians) or the Head of the Specialty Study Program of each IPSP (for Pediatric Residents), stating that the paper is officially submitted as an ERA paper.

3. The age of the principal investigator is not limited.

4. The principal investigator will act as a presenter, or can be substituted by one of the co-authors.

5. Participants who will participate in the ERA papers are required to first submit their abstracts online through the official committee website at www.pit13ika.com in the "Abstract and e-Poster Portal" section and select "Awards" in the abstract designation category section.

6. The writing format and procedure for submitting abstracts for the ERA papers must comply with the committee's provisions .

7. Participants in the ERA papers MUST submit a Complete Manuscript with the following provisions:

   1. The complete manuscript is written in Indonesian with a total of no more than 10 (ten) pages, using Arial 12 font, 1.5 spacing

   2. The complete manuscript consists of:

      1. Title Section, Name of Researcher/Author, and Affiliation

      2. Abstract Section (must be in two versions: English and Indonesian)

      3. Content Section (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions and Bibliography), written according to the scientific journal publication format.

      4. Attachment Section (consisting of 2 attachments):

         1. Attachment 1: Statement from the Head of Department (for Pediatricians) or Head of Specialty Study Program (for Pediatric Residents).

         2. Attachment 2: Complete correspondence address of the Researcher/Main Author.

8. The complete manuscript must be submitted online by uploading it to the system provided. The committee DOES NOT ACCEPT submissions of complete manuscripts via email, or manual mail.

9. The deadline for submission of abstracts and complete manuscripts for the ERA papers is 15 August 2025.

10. All ERA papers will be assessed by a panel of judges to determine 10 (ten) finalists and will be announced by

    21 September 2025.

11. ERA papers that are not selected as finalists will be allocated to free oral papers or e-Poster.

13^th PIT IKA - Annual Scientific Meeting of Indonesian Pediatric Society, Malang 2025 held an opportunity for Travel Scholarship Awards that can be participated by all pediatricians and general practitioners throughout Indonesia.

Eligibility criteria include:

1. Pediatricians who are members of Indonesian Pediatric Society

2. General Practitioners who are interested in Pediatric Science.

Individuals who are eligible must apply with the following details required:

1. Letter of Statement with objectives clearly stated

2. A detailed budget for your trip

3. Evidence of costs, such as quotes or screenshots

4. Curriculum Vitae including history of education, experience, employment, and accomplishments

5. Research Projects that will be presented in the congress, if any.

Individuals who are granted will receive (by reimbursement):

1. Free symposium registration

2. Free transportation at cost

3. Free accommodation at cost during symposium
