The Indonesian Pediatric Society – East Java Chapter invites 13th PIT IKA - Annual Scientific Meeting of Indonesian Pediatric Society, Malang 2025 participants to communicate their research and updates in the field of child health care in Oral and e-Poster Presentation during the symposium.

e-Poster Format

  1. All posters should be prepared in English.

  2. The presenting authors are fully responsible for the poster content. Please carefully review your poster for spelling and grammar and make sure to upload the final version of your poster.

  3. Formatting guideline:

    1. File Type: PDF (10 MB maximum)

    2. Format: 1 page, portrait orientation

    3. Dimensions: A4 format (21 cm x 29.3 cm).

  4. You will be able to upload only one file. The uploaded file will be reviewed to ensure it meets the technical specifications and will be approved then.

  5. Please note that once an e-Poster is approved, it cannot be re-uploaded and it will be accessible in the virtual platform for all the registered participants.

  6. Tips for preparing your poster, each poster should contain the following:

    1. A short, descriptive title

    2. Full names of contributing authors

    3. Authors’ affiliations

    4. Use bullet points and only the most relevant text. 200-300 words are more than enough for the main text.

    5. Highlight the aim and the conclusion using bold or coloured fonts (clear and simple, emphasising implications for practice).

    6. Particular attention should be paid to the resolution of pictures. As a rule of thumb, use at least 300 dpi resolution. Make use of colour and graphics. At least 2 pictures or figures are recommended to graphically show your results.

e-Poster Submission Procedure

  1. All posters will be available in electronic format, presented on self-standing portrait-oriented screens on-site at the venue, and accessible online through the virtual platform during the event. The physical posters will not be displayed at the venue.

  2. The poster upload system will be open from 30 August 2025, with the deadline for submission on 21 September 2025.

  3. All presenters will be obliged to submit their final PDF poster to the virtual congress platform. The link to the virtual platform and details on how to log in will be communicated in due course. A poster number will be allocated to your abstract.

  4. Some poster presenters will be selected to present their abstracts during the evening e-poster sessions (on 13 or 14 October 2025) with decisions made in the coming weeks. Eight electronic poster boards will be available for the e-poster sessions. Selected presenters will be contacted in advance and encouraged to practice a 2-minute concise pitch highlighting the main message and outlining the purpose of the study.
